Rapitypes and Taylors International serve up breakfast in the East Midlands

Rapitypes and Taylors International recently played host to the inaugural Made in the Midland’s East Midlands Breakfast Club networking event, which brings together representatives from a variety of different manufacturing companies from across the Midlands.

The Leicester based company boasted a state of the art facility, extensive client base and warm welcome, showing it’s fellow members that the Black Country is not the only place with something to shout about.

Similar to other MIM breakfast events, the morning consisted of copious amounts of coffee and breakfast nibbles, and offered a buzz of excitement as members chatted and exchanged business cards.

Rapitypes followed with short presentations where they provided an introduction to their supporting activities of engineering design, prototyping and low-volume manufacturing within a variety of manufacturing sectors, from automotive to medical.

The day proved a great success and a wonderful example of what the East Midlands has to offer.

Abigail Leachman, Made in the Midlands membership advisor for the East Midlands added:

“The East Midlands has been developing fast in the last few decades and local companies are beginning to notice. As Made in the Midlands continues to expand into the area, companies like Rapitypes are showing us what the East has to offer and are representing a united voice for this part of the country.

New members are always welcome and dates for future Breakfast Club’s events can be found at Made in the Midlands’s web site www.madeinthemidlands.com/events.
